Yvonne Caister

After a short illness, Yvonne Caister passed away at her home in Winnipeg, MB on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the age of 67 years.

Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gerald Caister, son David Caister, daughter Danielle Caister (Clay Pederson), grandchildren Evelyn, Clive and Pearl Pederson, mother Alice Patterson, siblings Bob (Gail) Patterson, Micheline (Eugene) Czyrnyj and Gordon Patterson, along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her father Robert Patterson and brother Donald Patterson.

Yvonne was born and raised in Portage la Prairie, MB, where she also received her education.  She married Gerald Caister and they moved to Winnipeg and started their family.  Yvonne loved gardening and she also had a passion for vintage fashion.  She was a very strong-willed woman and she lived her life on her own terms.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Yvonne’s family will celebrate her memory privately.
