William “Bill” Charles Hudson

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

Suddenly, on Tuesday, July 24, 2013, Bill passed on to the Spirit World at the age of 60 years.

Bill will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Diane; son Sonny; daughters Angel and Crystal; brothers Larry, Wayne (Barb) and Orville; sisters Emily (Arnold), Beverly (George) and Ella.

He was predeceased by his parents Roderick and Mary; sisters Eleanor, Grace, Sandra and Kim.

Bill’s greatest joy was his grandson A.J. (Anthony James). They spent precious times together  playing cars, going for walks or just watching TV together.

Bill was born in Peguis, Manitoba on April 5, 1953.  He grew up in Fisher River First Nation and then moved to Winnipeg at an early age.  Bill was a strong, hard worker.  He was employed at Long Plain School, Provincial Building, Portage Clinic, Portage Library, Food Development Centre, City Garage, Portage Water Treatment Plant, Glesby Centre, North American Van Lines, Penthouse Furniture, All Weather Windows and Portage la Prairie Armoury.

Pallbearers: Stanley George Prince, Bernie Peters, Garry B Meeches, Bob Merrick, Randy Merrick and Terry Bartlett.  The wake and funeral service conducted by David Daniels.

Traditional Wake will begin Friday, July 26, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2013 beginning at noon.
