On Thursday, December 27th, 2012 at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, VICTOR ALLEN LUCIER passed away at the age of 59 years.
Victor was born on March 2nd, 1953 in Roblin, Manitoba and moved to Portage la Prairie in 1959, where he resided until his death.Victor enjoyed spending most of his time alone, however in his later years became more social. He could be seen around various local coffee shops drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. He was always open to passing the paper to other patrons, quick to point out the articles that he felt were and were not worth reading. Victor also enjoyed riding his bicycle around town in the summer and would engage whomever he felt could assist him when he had a problem with the bike.
A service to celebrate Victor's life will be held on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 10AM at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, Portage la Prairie, MB with Rev. Ron Siemens officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Victor's memory to a charity of choice.
