“Golden Thunder Woman”

It is with deep sadness we announce that Tracey passed suddenly into the spirit world on January 12th, 2022 at the age of 30 years.

Tracey was the beloved daughter of the late Herman Woods and Judy (Grothe) Longclaws. Tracey was always a very kind and generous woman, helping out anyone who was in need however she could. She was a quick learner and excelled in all trades, especially carpentry and mechanical work. Everyone knew when Tracey entered the room, she was very well known and always outgoing. She would never hold a grudge, she could be mad one day, but by the next day she would be happy again.

Tracey loved her kids, and she was a good mother. She also loved to spend time with and spoil her nieces and nephews.

Tracey was predeceased by her father Herman Woods and sister Holly Ann Longclaws. Left to cherish her memory are her children Adrianna, Tracey Jr., Valerian and Desmond, mother Judy (Nelson), siblings Lisa, Devon, Lacey, Lawrence Jr., Shane, Carl and Jamie, Best friends / sisters Margaret Flett and Lucille “Goose” Woods. Nieces and nephews Bryanna, William, Kiezer, Daymian and Hailey as well as many more nieces, nephews and special friends.

Tracey will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Friday, January 21, 2022 beginning at 4:00 pm. Feast and Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 beginning at 12:00 noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  Burial will follow at Woods Myran Cemetery.
