Tony passed away peacefully at the Seven Oakes Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Tony was born in the Golega, Portugal on the 25 th of February, 1949. His parents were Joao and Clementia Heleno Rodrigues, he had one brother, Jose Fernades Rodrigues.
Tony leaves behind to mourn his passing, his good friend Esmeraldo Neves as well as friends and co-workers at Len Dubois Trucking.
After serving in the Portuguese army, Tony immigrated to Canada in 1973. He lived most of his life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He did several different types of work but enjoyed being a long distance truck driver. His last 15 years were spent driving for Len Dubois Trucking where he took great pride in his work.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10:00 am at Brookside Cemetery, please gather at office entrance, 3001 Notre Dame Ave.
