He attended school in Birtle, MB, had many friends and was involved in many sports. Upon completion of school, Tom joined the Dakota Ojibway Police service where he dedicated 36 years of his life.
In 2002 he married his wife Alicia and went on to have their 4 children, Tori, Dallas, Wyatt and Zane. In 2006 Tom moved his family to Portage la Prairie where they raised their children, got involved with the community and made many friends. Tom could often be found on the golf course in the summer months and watching his beloved Jets in the winter. He was a family man that often showed the love he had for his family. He was quick witted and always down for a good debate. Tom poured his heart into everything he did and was loved and looked up to by many.
