THOMAS RICHARD GOODBRAND

January 27, 1938 – September 28, 2019

Tom passed away peacefully on September 28, 2019 at Oakview Place.  He was 81 years old.

Tom was born in Belmont, Mb, on January 27, 1938, where he grew up on the family farm. Tom was predeceased by parents, John William Goodbrand of Belmont, Mb, and Elsie Gladys (Withers) Goodbrand of Neelin, Mb. Tom was also predeceased by his brothers Hugh Goodbrand and Ross Goodbrand.

Tom leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 54 years, Mary Lorette Diane (Andries) Goodbrand, his two sons, Lorne (Laura) Goodbrand and Kevin (Holly) Goodbrand, and grandchildren Tyler (Meghan), Alyssa, Riley and Jessica.  Also mourning his passing are his sisters, Judy Janzen, Sharon Chabbert, and Heather Ficek, along with numerous brother and sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Tom (Northern Red), proudly drove semi-trucks for over 50 years all over North America accumulating more than 2,000,000 miles.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Victoria Inn, 1808 Wellington Ave, Winnipeg, MB.  A family burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
