Stanley George Prince
Sadly on April 5, 2015 at 11:20 am, with his family at his side, Stanley George Prince “Jinx” passed into the Spirit World at the age of 64 years.
Stan was born to Stanley Smith and Sarah Jane Prince on September 12, 1950 at Long Plain First Nation.
He was predeceased by his parents; sisters Florence, Madeline (Iona) and Kimberly Smith and brother Donald.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Gladys Prince (nee Thomas) and family; his children from a previous relationship, daughters Sarah, Jocelyn, Malina and Darlene; sons Colin, Kelly, Jonathan and Alex; 6 grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves his sisters Angele Eastman (nee Prince), Margaret, Mary and Ella; brothers James, Orville and special nephew Russell.
Traditional Wake will begin at 4:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2015 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Interment will take place at the Prince/Assiniboine Cemetery.
