Shirley Ann Wood, 60 years old, passed away on January 1,2017.

Shirley was born Gladstone, MB on February 9, 1956 to Reinhold and Mary Ethel Hildebrand. Shirley grew up in Portage la Prairie with her sisters and brothers.

Shirley leaves to mourn her passing her husband Melvin Wood, her children Brandy (Peter) and Reinhold (Ashley), her 2 granddaughters and 5 grandsons as well as her brothers, sisters and all her in laws.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Reinhold and Ethel as well as her brothers Frank and Shannon two feathers (Freddie).

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, Portage la Prairie, MB.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Shirley’s memory  to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0S6.

A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
