After a battle with cancer, Sheila Thomas passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the age of 55 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gary; sons Darren (Kathleen) and Jeff (Stephanie); father Glenn Milne; mother Joan Milne; siblings Linda (Steve) Sigurdson, Ian (Debbie) Milne, Dianne (Ron) Nordstrom, David Milne (Charlotte Groves); nephew Taylor Milne; niece Stacy Milne and many extended family and friends.
A private family graveside service has taken place at the Oakville Cemetery. We welcome all family and friends to join us for a reception at the Oakville Community Hall on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
The family would like to thank Dr. M. Pitz and his nurse Linda Davidson at CancerCare Manitoba and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital palliative care ward for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sheila’s memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation 1 Wesley Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
