Sharon Meeking

With great sadness, our family announces that Sharon Meeking (nee Barley) passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on May 15, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

Sharon leaves to mourn her passing her husband Scott Meeking and siblings Alma Anderson, Brenda (Joe) Everett, and Bill (Cori) Barley. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Lorene (nee Anderson) Barley and sister Mary Barley.

Sharon was a loving mother to her son Archie Cromwell (Jenny), and a proud grandmother and auntie to several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She had a big heart, and she loved her cats, knitting, reading, camping and tending to her husband.

Sharon’s hum, laugh and tenderness will be with us forever.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Sharon’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Boulevard Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5.
