Tragically, on Sunday, June 18, 2017 our Shanna passed on to the Spirit World.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beautiful daughters Camden-Everly and Willa, who were her pride and joy.  Also left behind is her mother Darlene Peters and her father Mervin Roulette; her sisters Amanda, Farah, Tannis and Savannah; her brothers Ethan, Joel, Mervin and Shaun.  Special nieces and nephews  Avagrace, Shaylynn, RJ, Reid, and many more, too numerous to mention;  grandfather Edward Peters and many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

Shanna was predeceased by her brother Brodie Peters; sister Roxane Meeches; her grandmother Barb Peters;  grandparents Alfred and Mabel Roulette; aunties Sheila Peters, Virginia Cameron, Pauline Meechas, Gloria Roulette and Cecelia Roulette; uncles Russell, Earl, Alvin and Allen Roulette and cousin Selena Smoke.

Shanna was born in Portage la Prairie and was raised in Long Plain First Nation.  She became a mother at age 19.  She loved being with her daughters, always taking videos and pictures of them and sharing them on Facebook.  Her children meant the world to her.  Those who Shanna let in her circle, she was a loyal friend to and she will be missed dearly by them.

Traditional wake will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge at 5:00 pm.  Traditional feast and service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.   Services to be officiated by Elder David Daniels. Burial will take place at the Long Plain Cemetery.
