Russell Taylor

Peacefully, with his family by his side, Russell passed away at the Lion’s Prairie Manor on September 16, 2019 at the age of 97 years.

Left to cherish his memory are Opal, his wife of 68 years, daughters Sherry and Lorraine, grandchildren Carter, Samantha (Kevin), Lacey (Derek), Jerri Lynn (Kirk), Skylar (Adrianna), Riley (Katarina) and Courtney and great-grandchildren Aurora, Aiden, Levi, June, Maci and Kora.

Russell was predeceased by his daughter Kathy Marshall, grandson Dane Marshall, parents Nellie and Edwin Taylor, brother Howard and sisters Violet and Cora.

Russell’s family will celebrate his memory privately.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Russell’s memory to a charity of your choice.

A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
