Our beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend began his journey to the spirit world guided by those who come to meet him and those he leaves behind.
Ron was predeceased by his father, mother, sisters, brother, son, grandson, niece and nephew.
Always a hard worker, Ron started working on the farm at the young age of twelve.
Throughout his life, he was committed to doing the best job his way.
Ron could weld machinery one minute, build a house in the next one, and still have time to bake a pie for those who were lucky enough to visit on that day.
Ron was a spiritual man who carried on with teachings that were gifted to him. He shared that wisdom with anyone who asked it of him.
Our hearts are heavy, our tears flow freely, but we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and in the arms of his loved ones. He taught us many things, and asked for little in return.
We thank all those who made him smile, who laughed with him and those who wish him well on his journey.
Traditional wake to be held at Ron’s residence, 346 Yellowquill Trail West, on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
Feast and Ceremony will be held at Ron’s residence on Friday, September 28, 2018 beginning at noon followed by burial at Dauphin Myran Cemetery.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. 204-857-4021 www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
