With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rodney Meeches on to the Spirit World on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the age of 55 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his partner Sandra Smoke; children Christopher, Michele and Rodney Jr.; grandchildren Colby, Brady, Nicholas, Aeris, Tayler and Rodney III; siblings Francine. Sharon (Barry), Pauline (Ken), Lance (Jen), Tamara (Kevin) and Joseph (Cheryl); many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends. Rodney was predeceased by his mother Doreen Meechas and brother Christopher Meeches.
Traditional Wake will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Long Plain Rez Plex. Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 beginning at noon followed by burial in the Long Plain Cemetery.
