Rodney Hawker

With sadness, we announce the passing of Rodney Hawker on April 1, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 52 years.

Rodney was born in Portage la Prairie, MB to Fred and Lois (nee Gillespie) Hawker and spent most of his life in the Oakville , MB area.

Rodney is survived by his sons Brodie and Dylan (Nikki), grandson Kayden, mother Lois and sister Lara.

The birth of his grandson Kayden last October was the highlight of his life. Despite severe back and health problems, he made his living driving trucks and made many friends along the way.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Rodney’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5.
