It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Rebecca Leslie on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the age of 19 years
Rebecca was born on July 4, 1996 and since 1999, Rebecca’s home has been St. Amant Center.
She leaves mourn her parents Chris and Dwayne Leslie; brother Alex; grandparents Jim & Sheila Leslie and Colin and Kathleen Hender along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her great grandmas Hazel Leslie and Edith Bonnet.
Rebecca was a pretty young lady with beautiful blue eyes. She had a gentle spirit, but the remarkable strength of heart and courage to live with many health challenges. When she was feeling well Rebecca enjoyed music, story time and quiet one-to-one interactions with those she knew well. Rebecca trusted and relied upon her caregivers on the 2 East Living Unit to understand her care needs and preferences. She found great comfort in the quiet routines and compassionate care given with so much love.
Dear Rebecca, may you find freedom and peace in heaven!
A private family service will be held.
