During a beautiful sunset at 9:00 pm Philip Myran entered the pearly gates to be with our Lord, at the Portage District General Hospital with his son Carl, 3 sisters and nephew Ryan by his bedside.
Philip loved all his children and grandchildren dearly no matter what. He had a great sense of humour and made others laugh with him. Philip was a kind hearted gentleman. He always held on to his faith in Christ even at his lowest walks of life. Philip was gifted with skillful hands. He had a creative mind to create carvings, leather craft work, welding and mechanics. In his younger days he was a great hunter of wildlife: beavers, rabbits, elk and deer. Not to forget he was also a great farmer. He will never shed a tear or suffer again. Phil will never be forgotten and he will always be cherished in our hearts.
He leaves to mourn his wife Mary Tizzard; children Carl (Carol), June (Fred), Mark, John (Theresa) and Nathan; grandchildren Shyanne, Carl, Marcel, Andrew. Kristin, Jason, Ashton, Chelsea, Carly, Skylar, Chase, Mackenzie, Samuel, Mason, Takoah, Nathaniel; great grandchildren Anashia, Royce, Khloe, Kylie, Kaliegh, Mason, Madison, Liam, Isaiah and Arianna; brothers Lawrence (Lorraine) and James; sisters Helen, Donna (Dave), Theresa and Maureen; and many extended family and friends.
Wake Service will take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 5:00 pm at Philip’s residence in Long Plain First Nation. Funeral Service will begin on Wednesday, May 23, 1:00 pm followed by burial at YellowQuill Cemetery.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
