“Blackstone Man”

Perry Shannon Roberts of Sturgeon Lake, Saskatchewan began his journey to the spirit world peacefully at age 51. He faced his journey fearlessly, well prepared and without regret on June 7th, 2021. He was a devoted husband, beloved father and papa. He was a family man with a heart of gold who was devoted to his family. Everyone who met him would agree that he was genuine and kind. He will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Perry loved sports, music, astronomy and video games, but most of all his loving family. Music was always around him, either he was singing, playing his guitar or listening to it where ever he could.

His fascination with astronomy was inspiring and he would teach his children about the things he learned every chance he had. He loved further explaining the things they didn't understand and hearing their opinions about it. He was also an avid gamer who enjoyed gaming with his son. He was very skillful when he played and would happily take any challenger to school. His humor was unrivaled. He had a large following on social media due to his humorous writing. They would wait daily for his posts which covered every conceivable topic and nothing was off limits.

Perry's love for his family was endless and without limits. He was a gentle bear who was compassionate, caring, funny, strong, determined, willful, humble and brave. He was a very spiritual traditional man. He was loyal, creative, courageous, intelligent, thoughtful, wise and serious when he needed to be.

Perry is survived by his wife Andrea Roberts, who have been married for a wonderful 30 years. Four daughters, Amber, Tanis, Kyra (Darrin) and Simeron,  his son James and special nephews Andrew, Alex and Emmett, grandchildren  Sloane, Brinley, Luna and Violet, his parents Elsie and Sol, also his brothers James Roberts,  Curtis Roberts and Jason Roberts,  sisters Dawn Sanderson and Andrea Sanderson and his best friend Todd Morin.
