With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing on to the Spirit World of Pauline Meechas at the Portage District General Hospital on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the age of 68 years.
Pauline leaves to mourn her family: husband John Meechas; children Lisa (Conrad), Lorne (Lacy), LeeAnn (Kirby), Sheryl (Darren); grandchildren Danielle, Stephan, Brennan, Tristan, Caitlyn, Cody, Leticia, Kelsey, Jazmin, Alyssa, Jessie, Taylyn, Leah, Terrell, Nolan, Grason, Kristen, Paula, Paul Jr., John, Christopher, Shaniqua, Camryn, Emma and Vianna; great grandchildren Jaelynn, Aries, Miryia, Kaylee, Koby, Michael, Kale, Akeelah, John, Tianna, Lenna, Jenessa, Tristan and Tyler. Also surviving are brother Mervin Roulette; sisters Evelyn, Doris and Georgina Roulette along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Mable Roulette; brothers Alvin, Allen, Earl and Russell Roulette; sister Gloria Roulette.
Traditional Wake will begin at 4:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Long Plain Rez Plex. Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Friday, August 7, 2015 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Rez Plex. Interment to follow at the Long Plain Cemetery.
