Paul Ducharme

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Ducharme on Friday, March 20, 2020 in Portage la Prairie, MB at the age of 83 years.

Left to cherish Paul’s memory are his children Randy (Claudette) Ducharme of Winnipeg, MB and Brenda Ducharme of St. Ambroise, MB, grandchildren Meagan (Adam) Ducharme and Elysia (Josh) Ducharme, and sisters Helen (Clifford) Adams of Portage la Prairie, MB and Lillian (Raymond) Lamirande of Portage la Prairie, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife Susan (nee Lamirande), parents Joseph and Marcelline (nee Lavalee) Ducharme and brothers Rene and John Ducharme.

Paul lived, worked and raised his family in St. Ambroise, MB. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and playing his guitar and singing. Paul was a quiet, patient and loving man, and he will be dearly missed.

A gathering to celebrate Paul’s life will be held in the summer of 2020 at St. Ambroise Cemetery, led by Fr. Gerald Langevin.

As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 2 – 218 Saskatchewan Ave. E. Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0K9.
