Orane Fitzworth Johnson "Pastor OJ"

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear beloved Orane F. Johnson, who suddenly passed on March 29th, 2025.

Pastor OJ will be lovingly remembered by his wife of eighteen years, Kerrian K. Johnson, sons Nathan O. Johnson and Caleb W. Johnson, daughter Orianna A. Johnson, mother Varlo Betty, one sister, three brothers, nieces and nephews, Church family at the Highway Pentecostal Church in Portage la Prairie, congregations in Newfoundland and Jamaica, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Peter Lloyd Johnson.

Viewing and visitation will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 14th, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  

A celebration of Pastor OJ's life will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at The Highway Pentecostal Church, 1680 Saskatchewan Ave W, Portage la Prairie, MB. The service will be livestreamed, to register and view click on link below.

A service will be held at a later date in Jamaica at Assemblies of the First Born Church International – Colegate Gospel Tabernacle, St. Ann, Jamaica and burial in the Walkers Wood Cemetery.

His soul is resting in peace and light perpetual is shining on him.
