Obby Cavers

Peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2020, Obby Cavers passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 76 years.

Obby will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barb of 44 years; children Randy Cavers, Andrew (Anne) Cavers and Cathy Cavers (Roy Regelsky); grandchildren Kyle (Amanda), Kaily (Alec), Jessica and Dylan (Megan); great-granddaughter McKenzie; brothers Clare (Joan) Cavers and Jim (Bonnie) Cavers; sister Shiela (Bob) Simmons; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

As per Obby’s wishes cremation has taken place, a private family service will be held in the summer.

As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Obby’s memory to the Herman Prior Centre, 40 Royal Road N, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 1V1 or Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
