On Wednesday, December 25, 2013 Nicole Longclaws peacefully entered the Spirit World at the age of 12 years.
Nicole is survived by her mother Michelle Taylor; father Edward Longclaws; sisters Larissa and Raeanna; brothers Dylan and Jonathon Peters; grandparents Myra Taylor, Marshall Sandy, Albert Pashe, Pansy Johnson and Shirley Longclaws; aunties Lana, Dinah, Valerie, Rolanna (Rick) and Cheryl; uncles Sonny, Darren, Jack, Wakinyan, Danon (Sherry), Bert and Dean and many loving cousins. She is predeceased by her great Kunsis.
Special thanks to Sherri Price, Robert Hapa, HSC Children’s Hospital and Staff, Children’s Rehab Centre, Dr. Deborah Peabody, Dr. Grant McDougall, Nurse Christine and Kunsi Myra Taylor.
Traditional Wake will begin Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Masonic Hall, 50 Tupper St. S, Portage la Prairie. Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Masonic Hall, beginning at noon followed by her body being laid to rest in the Old Sioux Village Cemetery.
