Peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Manitoba Developmental Center, Nancy Lu Miller passed away at the age of 77 years old surrounded by friends.
Nancy was born December 28, 1934 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Nancy was the youngest of 8 children born to Jack and Mary Miller. Nancy lost her mother at the age of 4 and it was shortly thereafter she came to live at the MDC.
Over the many years at the center Nancy had touched many hearts with her mischievous smile and gentle touch.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service, Wednesday, November 28th led by Reverend Ron Siemens to remember and say goodbye to Nancy. Service will be held in the Aspen Worship Center, 840 3rd Street NW, Portage La Prairie, MB. at the Manitoba Developmental Center at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Portage la Prairie, Mb.
In lieu of flower, donations can be made to Lake Manitoba Camp Legacy , Box 1532, Portage la Prairie, Mb, R1N 3P5.
