Melvina Rosa Ward (nee Samborski)

On December 1, 2023, our mom passed away peacefully.  Melvina Rosa Ward (nee Samborski) was born on October 30, 1935 in Cudworth Saskatchewan.  She was predeceased by her husband Jim.  She is survived by her brother John Samborski; sister Boh Liebrecht; sister Diane and Ken Fidler; brother Bill and Verna Samborski; children Dale and Anita Ward (grandchildren, Natalie and Mike, James and Sherry and Candace and Steve), Carol and Jim Nickels (grandchildren Charmaine and David, Steven and Nicole, Angie), Janice Dickey (grandchildren Ashley, Stephanie), Bonnie Ward (grandchildren Jennifer and Garnet, Tammy) and Cyndi Ward; along with many great grandchildren.

Thank you to the Lions Prairie Manor and their staff for their wonderful care of our mom.

A celebration of mom’s life will take place at a later date.
