Maurice Mould

With sadness we announce Maurice Mould passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the St. Claude Pavilion at the age of 94 years.

Maurice was predeceased by his wife Betty Mould. Left to treasure his memory are his daughter Bev (Garnet) Williams of St. Claude with grandchildren Rhys and Tomas and son Gary Mould of S. Wales, UK with grandchildren Colin, Garry and Lewis, along with numerous relatives and friends.

Maurice was born in Tongwynllas, S. Wales, UK on April 6, 1930. He worked as an Electrical Engineer with British Telecoms. Moved to Canada in 2004 to follow their daughter Bev Williams and family who immigrated in 1999 and farmed in the St. Claude area. Maurice and Betty enjoyed living in Portage la Prairie on the crescent. They moved closer to family at the farm in 2018 before moving to the St. Claude Pavilion in their later years.

A funeral service will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 am with interment taking place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Maurice’s memory to the St. Claude Pavillon - Southern Health Box 400, St. Claude, MB R0G 1Z0.
