Mary Georgina Tizzard

Our dear beloved Mother Mary Tizzard sadly passed away at the age of 73 on February, 21 2024 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Sk. Passing in the warm and loving embrace of family and the comfort of the Holy Spirit welcoming her home to our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ alongside; Parents Charles & Ada Tizzard, husband Philip Myran, sisters Flo and Stella, brother Roger, son Barry and grandson Brandon.
 
Mary was a compassionate and loving mother, grandmother and friend; and will leave an everlasting impact to all who knew her.  Mary was an avid gardener in the summers with her pal tramp at her side and an even more enthusiastic hockey fan during the winter months. Her deep belief in the Lord beamed through her, throughout her devote acts of humility and generosity to anyone who was in need. She will never be forgotten and will be cherished in our hearts forever.
 
Mourned  by her Children; Jeff Meeches, June Tizzard (Fred), Mark Tizzard, John Tizzard (Cathy), grandchildren; Skylar Tizzard, Chase Tizzard, Mackenzie Tizzard, Samuel Tizzard, Mason Tizzard, Takoah Reid, Nathaniel McParkland, Shyanne, Carl, Marcel, Andrew, Kristin, Jason, Ashton, Chelsea, Carly; great grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces, nephew and many extended family and friends.
 
The Family would like to thank the Royal University Hospital for all its care and support, Long Plains Chief and Council and community for their compassion, support and assistance during this time.

Viewing and Visitation will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 1, 2024 from  4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Highway Pentecostal Church, Portage la Prairie on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Yellowquill Cemetery.
