Martin Kucharsky
At the age of 78 years, Martin Kucharsky, beloved husband ofGloria (nee Lapointe), passed away at the Portage District General Hospital onJuly 16, 2011 with family by his side.
Martin was born on January 26, 1933 in Rathwell, Manitoba. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gloriaof 45 years, their children Cheryl (Lionel) White, Carol (Robert Wirth)Kucharsky, Jacqueline (John) Meulpolder, Nicholas (Crystal) Kucharsky, Wally(Laura) Kucharsky, Marlene (Marc) Le Moullec, and his 8 sisters Mary, Cassie,Lena, Alice, Nellie, Jenny, Elizabeth, and Orish. Martin also leaves to mourn his 13 grandchildren who will trulymiss the many farm adventures with grandpa.
Martin now rests in peace with his predeceased daughterSusan, granddaughter Ara, parents Sophie (Wally) and Niykyfyor Kucharsky, andsiblings Anna, Polly, Joseph, Ellen, Johnny, and Alec.
A heartfelt thank you to the Portage District GeneralHospital physicians and nursing staff for the exceptional care and comfortprovided to our family during this time.We would also like to thank Father Michael Skrumeda for his spiritualblessing.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Portage la Prairie, MB with FatherMichael Skrumeda officiating. Intermentwill follow at the Woodlands Cemetery.
