Marjorie Oldford

Celebration of Marj Oldford's life will take place at the Portage Legion Hall on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022, Marjorie “Marj” Oldford passed away with family by her side at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 71 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob Oldford, daughter Margaret, son Harvey Fehr, grandchildren Danielle (Ryan) Warkentin, Curtis Fehr, Terianne Fehr, Robert Oldford and Gavin Oldford, great grandson Ruger Warkentin, siblings Reta Owens (Norman Beattie), Ken Owens, John Owens and Linda (Larry) Cox, sister-in-law Prudy Owens; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Marj was predeceased by her daughter Carol Fehr, parents Howard and Jessie Owens, parents-in-law Bob and Kay Oldford, siblings Gerald Owens, Shirley Merke and Bill Owens.

Visitation and viewing will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  A public graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the High Bluff Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marj’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #65, 275 Duke Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3A7 or The Salvation Army, 220 Duke Avenue, Portage la Prairie, MB   R1N 0S6.
