Marion Nelson

Peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2019, Marion Nelson beloved spouse of the late Cecil Nelson passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 92 years.

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Cecil; daughter Theresa; parents Walter and Mildred Brass; sisters Winnie, Edna and Lillian.  She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Linda (Steve) Le Blanc, Don (Joanne) Nelson and Gail (Darren) Klippenstein; 11 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; sister Elsie; brothers Tom and Sid; brother-in-law Ralph; numerous extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, led by Wilma Shirriff.  Family interment will take place at Rossendale Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Marion’s memory to Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or The Salvation Army, 220 Duke Avenue, Portage la Prairie, MB   R1N 0S6.
