Marion Mary Fiset

Peacefully, with Camille, Monique and Brian at her side, our mom, Marion Fiset passed away on June 10, 2024, at the Lions Prairie Manor.

Predeceased by her father Aemil her mother Anna, three sisters, Teresa, Veronica and Emily, beloved daughter Jeannine and infant granddaughter Alexandra, she is survived by Camille Fiset (Leanne) Therese Kennedy (Bill) and Monique Denslow (Brian). Also mourning her loss is several grandchildren and great grandchildren. As the grandkids would say, “she was the bestest grandma ever. “

Mom wanted no funeral so cremation has taken place, and a family internment will occur later this summer with all of us together.

We wanted to offer a big thank you for all the care our mom received during the first stage in the manor on Walker Road - you know who you are and a special thanks to nurse Angie for all the humour with mom on a one-on-one chat. She loved the banter.

Also, a huge thank to Sky View staff when mom moved upstairs. It was so greatly appreciated. And of course, to the group that helped with our mom’s care, especially the last 24 to 36 hours. You made us feel like a big family, there to help and comfort us. Thanks for making it bearable with all the hugs when we needed it. She is at peace now.

Rest easy mom.
