Peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, MB, Margaret Hopcraft passed away at the age of 93 years.
Marge was predeceased by her husband Harold, brother Robert, sister-in-law Muriel Dellevoet, brother-in-law Reg Hopcraft and sister-in-law Anne Hopcraft.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Bev (Tom) Portor of Portage; granddaughters Cathy (Ben) Dixon of St. Albert, AB, Laura (Devon) Seitz of Okotoks, AB and Darlene Balness (Rick Vandenberghe) of Sanford; grandson Jeff (Rachael) Porter of Winnipeg; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. As well as her niece Marlene (Don) Milne of Winnipeg, nephews John (Lois) Hopcraft and Brad (Laveryne) Hopcraft.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Marge’s life will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:30pm. A private family interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marg’s memory to Lions Prairie Manor Foundation Inc, 24 - 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3V4 or to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Suite 100-1465 Buffalo Place Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 1L8.
