Peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2012, Mable Voss passed away at the age of 94 years.

Mom will be lovingly remembered by her son Morley (Elsie) Voss, and daughter Bev Stefiuk; grandchildren Todd (Chelta) Stefiuk and Debbie (Jason) Coss; and great grandchildren Matthew Coss and Jaida Stefiuk. She is also survived by her brother Clarence Boak, sister-in-law Margaret Boak, brother-in-law Nelson (Mary) Voss, sister-in-law Dorothy (Jim) White and many nieces and nephews.

Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond Voss in June of 2011, her parents David and Isabelle Boak, her sisters Jean and Marion, brothers George, Arthur and infant brother Leslie.

Mabel was born, raised and attended school in Edwin, MB. She married Raymond Voss in 1939 and together they farmed and raised their two children at Burnside. Mom was a member of the United Church in Edwin and was active in the UCW. Family was very important to mom and she always looked forward to family gatherings. Mom loved to knit and spent many hours making afghans, scarves and mittens. Many of the items that she made were often donated to those less fortunate. Mom had a very loving and generous heart, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
