On Saturday June 1, 2013 at the Portage General Hospital, Lyall Kruck passed away at the age of 61.
He was predeceased by his father Frank Kruck (1996), mother Catherine Kruck (2007) and sister-in-law Janet Fraser. Lyall is survived by his brothers Larry (Cheryl) of Winnipeg, Randy of Winnipeg, Arnie (Carol) of Portage la Prairie and Glen of Brandon, sister Charlotte Innes of Portage la Prairie, along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lyall spent his childhood living on a farm in Alonsa, Manitoba. When he was 14 years old the family moved to Portage la Prairie because of his father’s failing health. In 1989 Lyall lived for a while in Brandon but returned to Portage la Prairie.
Lyall worked for many years at ARC Industries before he decided to retire. He lived with ACL at Southport for his last few years, where he was happy.
Funeral Service will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, June 11 2013 at 1:00 pm led by Deacon Bill Parrack. Viewing will take place prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
