Luke Peter Myran
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Luke Peter Myran. At the age of 56, he passed on at Peterlougheed Hospital on December 20, 2012 with family by his side in Calgary, Alberta.
Luke was predeceased by his father Andrew Myran, mother Florence Myran; brothers Royce (Marge) Myran and Baby Boy Myran; sisters Louise (Gilbert) Meeches, Ethel (Steven) MacKinnon, Agatha Myran and brothers-in-law Harry Sanderson, Murdock Sinclair and Clarence Peters.
Luke was born on August 31, 1956 and raised on Long Plain First Nation. Luke was gifted with a kind and humble spirit. He didn't judge anyone for their lifestyles and accepted people as they were. After our Mother went to be with the Lord, Lukey left Long Plain to complete his life's journey in Calgary, Alberta.
He leaves to mourn his son Timothy Hobson, daughter Tracy and his grandchildren,brothers Phillip Myran, Lawrence (Lorraine) Myran and James Myran; sisters Katie Peters, Helen Myran, Donna Bartlett, Theresa Sanderson and Maureen Sinclair; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
