Lorraine Reid

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lorraine Reid on April 14, 2022 at her home in Portage la Prairie, MB.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Shawn Miness, Roxanne Miness and Ashley Reid (Glen Hurl); grandchildren Jayden, Naomi, Reyna, Hunter, Anthony, Jaida, Dylan, Madison, Jager and Bayne; several brothers and sisters and many nieces nephews and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert Reid; parents Lillian and Phillip Miness and a few sisters and brothers.

Lorraine had a caring heart and cared for her friends and family, making sure everyone was okay and didn’t need anything. She was always willing to help wherever she could. Lorraine was a great mother, but an even better grandmother, her grandchildren were her life.

Lorraine will truly be missed by all.

A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 6, 2022 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel – Trimble Room with interment following at Hillside Memorial Park.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lorraine’s memory to Portage Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), 121 12th St. NE, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 4A2.
