Lorraine suddenly passed to the spirit world on November 21, 2022 at the age of 67 years.

She leaves to mourn her partner and soulmate of 52+ years, James Arthur Hobson, daughter and caregiver Tanya Gott (Sam), son James Myran (Stephanie), daughter Barbara Myran (Chris), daughter Tiffany Myran, daughter Tracy V.L. Myran (Ryan), son Jonathan Myran (Vicki), grandchildren Kassandra (Ian), Sean, Gage, Carter, Gabriel, Alexander, Liam, Alyssa, Aaliyah and Lynnette, great-grandchildren AdianJohn, Isiah, Tahlia, Kian, Leo and Rain, her mother Mary Doreen Myran (nee Peepeetch) and siblings Robert, Brenda, Liz, Richard, Ken, Sidney, Sheila and Danny, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter Kaitlyn Jessica Myran, father Robert Myran, siblings Douglas Earl Myran, Gloria Joan Wescoupe and Joe Myran.

Lorraine was born on the Long Plain Reserve during a blizzard with her birth aided by the late Helen Peters. Lorraine spent two years in the Birtle Residential School, and after having her first child she spent her entire life devoted to her loving husband and growing family.

Personal health issues prevented her from enjoying her favorite pastimes such as puzzles, playing cards and beading. However, she enjoyed playing Bingo at home and socially until the pandemic sadly affected the world. Lorraine also loved watching true crime dramas, cooking and game shows.

She loved and supported her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally until her very last breath. Lorraine had the strongest will and determination, and truly lived up to her spirit name, Buffalo Woman.

Visitation, Feast and Service will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 beginning at 10:00am.

Pallbearers will be James Myran, Jonathan Myran, Sam Gott, Carter Myran, AdianJohn Perswain and Sean Myran.
