Lodovico "Vic" Fabbri

Peacefully on Friday August 3rd, 2012 at Riverview Health Centre Lodovico "Vic" Fabbri passed away, at the age of 86, with his close friends by his side.

He was born in Toronto, Ontario on December 26, 1925 "a day after The Man". He moved to Winnipeg at a young age and lived most of his life in the family business, the Polo Cafe on Higgins Avenue across from The Royal Alexander Hotel and the Canadian Pacific Railway Station. Vic will be remembered the most for his insatiable poetry writing. Vic also had a love for the Music and Movies from the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. He was a true romantic!

Vic was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Carmelinda Fabbri, his brother Nello (Noemi) Fabbri and his niece Victoria.

Left to grieve his passing are his niece Tinda Clifford and many close friends. The staff on 3E of the Riverview Health Centre are commended for their compassionate care for Vic's end of life journey.
