Linda Margaret Caddoo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Margaret Caddoo, of Lakeland, Manitoba on December 27, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Linda was born on May 13, 1949, to Helen and Charles Ball in Carman Memorial Hospital. Linda attended Carman Collegiate, after graduating she worked as a secretary for a Public Press, until she married Norman Caddoo of Lakeland, Manitoba on the 4th of July in the year of 1970.

Linda was a devoted wife to Norman and mother to their four sons: David, Darren, Christopher, and Michael. Linda spent countless hours every year growing and maintaining her flower and vegetable gardens so she would be able to look over it with pride and joy. By her side through all her great effort was her faithful companion, Sasha, who would always keep her company and warn her if any dangers were around.

Linda especially loved knitting, crocheting for Christmas shoe boxes and volunteering her time at MCC.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Charles Ball, her parents-in-law, Frances and John Caddoo, and her sister Barbara Kletke. She is survived by her husband Norman, sons David (Nichole, daughters Tamika, LaTisha, and Sierra), Darren (Lee), Christopher (Jaqueline), and Michael; as well as her sister Shirley, brother-in-law Raymond (Sharron) Caddoo and many nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 1:00pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in Lakeland Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed by registering at the link below.
