Linda Louise Brown (nee Beirnes)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda Brown on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the age of 73 years. 

Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her daughter Tammy Adams, son William Brown, grandchildren Sierra, Carter and Parker Adams. As well as her brother Averd (Laurena) Beirnes of St Albert, AB, brother-in-law Glenn Brown of Legal, AB, sisters-in-law Kenetta (Colin) Wolfe of Brandon, MB, Heather (Vern) McMillan of Rossburn, MB and many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Linda was predeceased by her husband Thomas Brown, parents Harold and Stella Beirnes, father-in-law Robert Brown, mother-in-law Kennette Brown and sister-in-law Barbara Brown. 

Linda was born March 9, 1951 in Vancouver, BC. Being an army brat the family moved around and eventually landed in CFB Shilo, MB, where many lifelong friendships were made and she met the love of her life Thomas Brown who she was married to for 47 wonderful years. 

Linda enjoyed tending to her garden in the warmer months and watching curling and doing puzzles in the colder months. She loved her family and was often telling anyone who would listen how proud she was of them. Bragging about Sierra’s job and life in Winnipeg, Carter’s basketball and guitar skills and Parker’s love for baking and helping around the house. 

She will be missed immensely, but friends and family can take peace knowing she is now reunited with the love of her life Tom and together they will be eternally happy, talking, laughing and of course walking Roxy dog to her hearts content. 

Cremation has taken place and Linda’s life will be celebrated privately. 

In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations can be made in Linda’s name to Sunset Palliative Care, Box 92, Portage La Prairie, MB R1N 3B2
