On Friday, April 24, 2015 my dear mother and our sister began to ride the wind and started her new journey to her next life.
Left to celebrate her new found freedom are her daughter Karen Bawoll, sister Jeanette Burke, brother Dale McDonald, many nieces and nephews and their families and the furr girls who wait for apple time.
Service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Trinity United Church led by Rev. Beth Kerr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leila’s memory to the Prospect Cemetery, c/o Pat Yuill, RR2, Box 13, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3A2 or to Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper Street S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1W7 or to PAWS (Portage Animal Welfare Society) , Box 1426, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3N9.
