Lachlan Remii Russell Amyotte
It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our precious baby boy, Lachlan Remii Russell Amyotte on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his home at the age of four months and 2 days.
Our baby leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his parents Laura Amyotte and Redmond Racette, brothers Lexiin and Lincoln, sister Leighton, papa Ivan Amyotte (Samantha Wilson), grandparents Russell and Laura Racette, great grandmother Agnes Amyotte, great great grandfather Gilbert Catcheway, and all of his aunties, great aunts, uncles and great uncles too numerous to mention.
Lachlan was predeceased by his grandmother Amy Amyotte, great grandfather Kippen Amyotte, great grandmother Mavis Catcheway, great great grandmother Flora Catcheway, great aunt Lorraine Amyotte, great great grandparents William and Margaret Racette and Harold and Lena Mousseau, great aunt Mary Mousseau (Bopeep), great uncle Arnold Mousseau, uncles David Mousseau and Arnold Chester Mousseau.
Our sweet baby boy was a happy baby. He brought us great joy and laughter in the short time Creator let us have him. He always had a sweet smile on his face, especially when he saw his brothers and sister. God needed another angel and he called ours home.
Wake will take place at the Dakota Tipi Hall beginning at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017, and continues on January 9, 2017 with a Wake Service starting at 7:00 p.m. led by Rev. Gilbert Catcheway and congregation. Traditional feast will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017, and the Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Gilbert Catcheway officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel
