Surrounded by the love of her family, Kobe Norquay-Assiniboine passed into the Spirit World on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 20 years.

Kobe was predeceased by her grandparents Paul and Bernice Assiniboine, Ken Norquay Sr., aunty Jennifer Assiniboine, uncle Randy Assiniboine and her dog Sammi.

She will be greatly missed by her mother Melanie Assiniboine (Bobby), father Keith Norquay, sisters Kara, Kiane, Keely (Ryan), and brother Kyler, along with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews friends and special friend Brendyn.

Kobe enjoyed video games, listening to music, doing her make-up – which led to her pursuing a career as a licensed esthetician, long drives, and cruising with her friends. She was an all-around athlete and played volleyball and basketball and participated in track.

Wake will be privately held at the family residence in Keeshkeemaquah Village on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 4:00 pm.  Feast and Service will be privately held at the family residence in Keeshkeemaquah Village on Thursday, October 20, 2022 beginning at noon, followed by burial at Long Plain Cemetery.
