Kian Daniel Outingdyke Stewart
Kian Daniel Outingdyke Stewart, cherished son of Todd Stewart and Amanda Outingdyke of High Bluff, Manitoba, was stillborn on January 4, 2014 at St. Boniface General Hospital.
Losing our son is the hardest thing we have ever had to face. We will forever be grateful for the precious time we had getting to know Kian through his kicks and jabs and for holding him in our arms and telling him how loved he will always be.
Kian was lovingly anticipated and will be missed by his parents, Todd Stewart and Amanda Outingdyke; his paternal grandparents, Gordon and Hazel Stewart; his maternal grandmother, June Outingdyke and her husband, Ellis Gouthro; his uncles Gordon (Lisa) Stewart and Scott (Robyn) Stewart, and auntie Amy Outingdyke (Paul Beetham); cousins Mackenzie, Kalyssa, Jasper and Mia; as well as the aunts, uncles, cousins and step-family of Todd and Amanda.
Until his parents are reunited with him in heaven, Kian will be cared for by his maternal grandfather, Richard Outingdyke, and all of his great-grandparents who will love him as much as we do.
In lieu of flowers the family would be honoured for you to support the Memory Artists of Manitoba as they continue to help other grieving parents through their Memory Box Program. Donations may be mailed to: Memory Artist of Manitoba, c/o Joan Clasen, 64 Balmoral Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1X4.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
A Butterfly
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a moment its glory and beauty
Belong to the world.
But then it flies on again, and though we wish
It could have stayed, we feel lucky
To have seen it.
