Judith "Judy" Lynne Ham

With sadness we announce the passing of Judy Ham on September 22, 2024, at the Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie, MB.

Judy was born November 26, 1947At the age of three years, she entered the Manitoba Developmental Centre in Portage la Prairie, MB. At the age of 18, Judy moved to Austin, MB and lived for 15 years with her foster parents Cornie and Margaret Harder. She attended Sprucedale Industries in Austin and really enjoyed it. Judy also attended the Austin EMM Church and made many friends there. When our mom passed away in 1982, Judy moved to Dauphin, MB. She worked at Parkland Vocational Services. In December 2017, she moved to Grandview Gateway. Everywhere she lived she made friends. In July 2024, she moved to the Lions Prairie Manor and was there until her passing. 

Judy will be missed by her friends and caregivers, and the Harder family. 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm, with viewing prior to the service. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed by registering at the link below.
