Jeffrey Edward Connery

April 20, 1959 to June 22, 2012 It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeff Connery on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the age of 53 years.

He will be remembered by his wife Beth; daughter Sam; son Chris; parents Ed and Bev, siblings Jackie (Ron) and Tim; mother-in-law Grace; sisters-in-law Rhonda (Jeff), Janine and Paulette; brother-in-law John; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jeff was predeceased by his brother Doug.

Jeff was born on April 20th, 1959 and raised in Portage. He grew up working on the farm and spending time with family and friends. He attended Arthur Meighen High School and this was where he and Beth met and started their life together. In 1985 they married and in time had Samantha and Christopher; enjoying sharing their family life with extended family and many friends. Jeff was very proud of his children and the paths they were laying out for their lives.

Jeff was connected to nature and maintained that connection in many ways. He loved the farm and growing the crops he knew so well. Most of his spare time was spent outdoors with family & friends a�" hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and just listening and observing.

In this spirit a memorial service will be held outdoors on the farm on Wednesday, June 27th at 11:30 am. Location will be 3 kms (1.8 miles) east of the junction of Hwys #331 and #240, turn north and watch for signs.

As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Jeff's memory to a wildlife/conservation charity such as Ducks Unlimited Canada Manitoba Branch, Unit 2 - 545 Conservation Drive, Brandon, MB R7A 7L8 or a charity close to your heart.
