Peacefully on October 8, 2011 at the Portage District General Hospital, Isabella Boak passed away at the age of 95 years.
Born in 1916, she was raised and educated in the Hartford District. She was predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth Murray; sisters Barbara (Bert) Crewson, Jean (Gill) Ross; brothers James, Thomas, and George Murray.
Mom is survived by her daughters Arlene McCallum, Betty Bedford, and Shirley Pritchard; her five granddaughters, six great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was a kind and caring person and enjoyed many social activities, coffeeing, card games, and traveling.
The family would like to give thanks to the Doctors and staff of the P.G.H. Special thanks to her homecare "family" and many friends for their caring and kindness.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
