Irvin Stuart Smoke

Irvin passed on March 25, 2012 at his residence at the age of 58.
He was predeceased by his loving grandparents Chaske and Tiyo Smoke, his brother Dwayne Pashe, step-mother Audrey Pashe, father-in-law Bruce and Doris Benn, numerous uncles, an auntie and cousins.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Annabelle Smoke, children Lee Amy Smoke, Amanda (Gerald) Delaronde, Vanessa (Dale), Marcie, Delmor and Donovan Smoke; parents Stuart Smoke and Mabel Hall; brothers Milton Pashe, Albert (Pansy) Pashe, Wilbur Pashe, Eugene (Debbie) Pashe, Stuart Pashe, Kim (Sherry) Pashe; sisters Valerie Smoke, Joanne McKay, Marlene (Randy) Pashe and Leeann. Irvin is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew, Anthony, Laila, Dominique, Julia, Ladaya, Jordan, Everette, Maria, Seinna and Isabella, as well as many uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Irvin grew up on Dakota Plains with his father and grandmother. He went to Rossendale School, then to Portage School. Irvin loved to help family and friends when they needed it. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He liked going to bingo, playing VLT's, cards and different games. Irvin loved going for long walks and drives and enjoyed visiting members of the community.
Wake will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Dakota Plains School Gym. Traditional Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Dakota Plains School Gym. Interment will follow at the Dakota Plains Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Lawrence Houle, Peter Prince, Jason Roulette, Frank Hall, Maurice Myran, Craig Blacksmith and Cameron Hall.
