It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and dear friend, Irma Elsie Pashe (Kwiatkowski) on April 12, 2013 at the Portage General Hospital with family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born and raised in Portage la Prairie and resided there for the duration of her life. She is survived by her good friend Les McLaren, daughter Debbie Cebry (Mike), granddaughter Candace Kirton, great grandchildren Colby and Sienna, granddaughter Carmel Mulaire (David) great granddaughter Fiona, grandson Chance, son Dwayne Campbell (Jane), grandchildren Sarah, Julian, Janelle Dobbs, son Wayne Campbell (Terra), grandchildren Kevin, Tyler, Jennalee and Dillen, son Tim Campbell (Freda), grandchildren Cory and Cody, daughter Tammy Ostopowich (Brian), grandchildren Michelle, Christopher, Brittany and Devon, son Troy Campbell ( Lee-Anne), grandchildren Dawson and Ashley. Irma is survived by her mother Betty Sproat, sisters Joanne, Linda, Debbie, Kim, Kelly, and Karen and brothers Ron, Michael, David and Faron and several nieces and nephews. Irma is predeceased by her husband Elmer Pashe, partner Jack Campbell, brother Bill Sproat and stepfather William Sproat.
Irma enjoyed spending time with family and looking after her grandchildren, looking after the house and yard and exploring the great outdoors. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
A tree will be planted and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
